Conveniently located within walking distance of the Bothell Library, The Park at Bothell Landing is a great place to stop on your Bothell outing. Unfortunately, the playground does not offer much for the littles, but big kids will have a wonderful time here. The equipment is rated for 5- to 12-year-olds, and has a lot of variety built into the pirate ship theme. The setting could not be more idyllic, with well-managed creek nearby and plentiful walking paths. I really appreciated the amount of shade available, since we were visiting on a rather warm day. There are also restrooms and picnic tables nearby. In the summer months, folks can rent a canoe to take out onto the water as well! Overall, this park is a longstanding gem in a heavily populated and rapidly growing area of Washington.
