Playground Review: Lewis Street Park, Monroe, WA

Lewis Street Park is the oldest park in Monroe, boasting 100-year-old cedar trees and Skykomish River access. The list of amenities here is impressive – year-round restrooms, four premium parking spots and an entire parking lot nearby, large picnic shelter, protection from the rain, grown-up benches, a drinking fountain, and bridge to Al Borlin Park (assuming it’s not too muddy, which is pretty much all winter).

Unfortunately, the playground itself is quite unimpressive. It consists of two toddler swings and a small climbing structure that is too tall for toddlers to reach. That’s it. 🙁  I wouldn’t recommend this playground for any age group.
